San Diego professional dog grooming and cat grooming

Dunk'n Dogs mission is to improve the health and appearance of each and every pet that visits us. We are committed to providing quality, friendly professional services with exceptional results. At Dunk'n Dogs grooming salon we love seeing the transformation that occurs when your pet is properly groomed and pampered with TLC.

At Dunk'n Dogs Self Serve Dog Wash, we offer professional pet grooming. We offer dog grooming as well as cat grooming. Unlike some grooming shops where all work is done in the back behind closed doors, our stylist's work in an open, friendly Salon, where anyone can drop in and watch them work their magic! We even encourage it. Once you see the quality of their work you'll be convinced that this is the place for your pet to be pampered.

Sara Scott is a groomer and trainer who specializes in working with dogs who struggle with the grooming process. She is a member of APDT and the National Groomers Association. She is one of the first groomers in the country to apply purely positive methods (classical and operant conditioning) to help dogs become comfortable with any part of the grooming/handling proceses that may be difficult for an individual dog to tolerate.

Sara specifically trains dogs to stay calm on the table, hold their head still, offer paws for nail trimming or nail dremeling. More than focusing on style. Sara leads the way in applying scientific principles to her dog clients to help set them up for a lifetime of good handling by any groomer or veterinarian they may visit in the future. You are welcome to stay with your pet during the training process.
